Great owners. Good food. Love the frozen drinks. The Electric Lemonade is my favorite. Love that they do karaoke on Sundays. Safe, fun spot downtown.

Great vibes no matter when you go. Slushies are a must try and they have tons of flavors. They are usually pretty busy so just be patient with the bartenders because they rock!!!!

We were in the area for the TSO concert and were trying to find a place for a quick bite and a few drinks before the show. We stumbled upon this place after walking away from a 40-50 minute wait at Roost. We came in at a perfect time because there were barely any customers. We were promptly served after sitting down at a tablet. Our waitress/bartender was awesome and kept the drinks coming along. The food was AMAZING. I ordered the chicken quesadilla and didn't expect it to be so big of a serving, but it certainly was filling. I expect we'll be back here again in the future next time we're in Greenville!

I can tell you that I really enjoyed it here. I aske for my 16oz. Ribeye steak medium rare...it came out cooked exactly that! The service was outstanding and the atmosphere was alive and cozy..just right. Ill definitely come back next time Im in Greenville.

Dont go if you dont know the bartender. If she doesn't like what you pay to play on touch tunes it gets turned down so you can't hear it and complains loudly about the music! Drinks are mostly mixer.

Comfortable downtown bar, not a huge variety of beer on tap but enough to get the job done! Very kind bartender. Several slurry cocktails and a big rhino head on the wall makes it a fun stop to grab a couple of drinks. If you feel like injuring yourself, there's also a boxing machine. Happy hour every weekday, 4-7.

Frozen slushy drinks are a must. Also might add, some of the best bar food I have ever had. Actually decided to go here a few times strictly for dinner! Fried pickles and Cajun Philly cheesesteak are both exceptional.

I went last night first time going. I ordered cheese bacon fries, steakhouse burger , got a drink and 6 Sesame peanut wings. My cheese was burnt on my fries and my burger was dry and had no flavor. I told the waitress it has no flavor she looked at me like to bad. Now I must say the wings are good. They cooked them great fried perfectly. If I every returned it will be for wings. I’ll never eat another burger from there again. The one start is because I spent 39 plus tax on food and nothing was good but the wings and my drink.

First time in city tavern and it was great!! Scott the bartender was really nice and served me and my guest with a smile and even chatty! (Love a smiling chatty bartender!) Their custom adult slushes are even better!! Try the Banana Banshee if you go!!!!

Very nice place for all types of people! Karaoke was fun to watch and my friends really enjoyed their drinks. We will be back very soon!

This is always our first stop in Greenville! M-F happy hour with awesome deals; see pic. Frozen drinks are all great, I’ve had every one of them. The bartender is super cool and she’s always friendly. We’ve had a handful of appetizers and all are tasty 😋 Outside seating too.

Fantastic service and great atmosphere. Had my traditional Highland Gaelic from home and jalapeño cheese poppers which were done perfectly. Will be back...

DISRESPECTFUL BOUNCER!! i turned 21 in may and wanted to go out for a night with friends after a long week of work. the bouncer took my ID and brought it to the back and made me wait for 10 minutes and then proceeded to chip my IDs lamination and be extremely disrespectful and damage my federal ID. i don’t recommend city tavern if you seek a respectful experience

Awesome boozy slushies and cheese fries

One of my favorite places for karaoke with my boy DJ Puddin, and they have an amazing drink called The Tiger In The Tank it's an orange slushy and it is delicious just be careful how many you drink because just like a tiger it will sneak up on you lol
